• Automatic Transmission Fluid

  The Aisin automatics are reliable and they are also the single most deferred service on the make. A fluid and filter service at the right interval is far cheaper than the alternative, and we use the correct Toyota specification fluid rather than a universal.

• Water Pump and Cooling

  Water pumps and thermostats are a known wear item across the 2AR and 2GR engine families. We replace the housing rather than only the thermostat, because doing the cheap part first usually means paying the labor twice.

• Oil Consumption

  Some four cylinder Toyotas develop oil consumption at higher mileages. It is diagnosable rather than something to live with, and the fix depends on which cause it actually is.

• Hybrid System Service

  Prius and hybrid RAV4 and Camry models need inverter coolant service and hybrid battery cooling fan cleaning. Both get missed because neither triggers a warning until it matters.

• Brake Actuator and ABS

  Hybrid braking systems use an actuator assembly rather than a conventional booster. Faults here need manufacturer level access to diagnose and calibrate properly.

• Suspension and Struts

  Struts, bushings and sway bar links wear gradually enough that most owners never notice. We align on our own alignment rack in house after the repair.

• Tacoma and Tundra Drivetrain

  Differential and transfer case fluid, plus driveshaft and u-joint wear on the trucks. Rear differential fluid in particular is rarely done.

• Timing Chain and Guides

  On higher mileage V6 models the chain guides and tensioners are worth inspecting rather than assuming. A rattle on a cold start is the tell.
