• Transmission Fluid Service

  The Aisin automatic is reliable and it is also the item most often ignored, because the maintenance schedule barely mentions it. Fluid and filter service at sensible intervals is the single best thing you can do for a high mileage Lexus, and it costs a fraction of a rebuild.

• HVAC Blend Door Actuators

  Actuator failure produces one side blowing the wrong temperature or a clicking behind the dash. Common, and labor intensive on several models because of dash access.

• Suspension Bushings and Struts

  These cars hide worn suspension well, so the decline is gradual and easy to miss. Control arm bushings and strut mounts are the usual culprits behind vague steering and a knock over bumps.

• Hybrid System Maintenance

  On hybrid models the battery cooling intake clogs with dust and cabin debris, which raises pack temperatures and shortens battery life. Cleaning it is inexpensive preventative work that most owners have never been offered.

• Brake Wear on Hybrids

  Regenerative braking means pads last a long time but rotors and calipers can corrode from underuse. We check condition rather than just measuring pad thickness.
